Chapter 9. Using ODS in the DATA Step
This chapter presents examples of DATA step programs that produce reports using ODS. It describes the ODS features that you can use in DATA step programs to structure and customize the report output. DATA step reports in tabular form can be routed to any ODS destination such as RTF, PDF, or HTML by using the same ODS "sandwich" statements that you used with SAS procedures in previous examples.
DATA step functionality for creating, manipulating, and transforming data sets or creating external data files is outside the scope of this book.
