Chapter 14. Understanding the Built-In Style Template Definitions

A SAS installation includes a set of built-in ODS style templates that SAS saves in the SASHELP.TMPLMST item store. This item store is where you also find the table templates, graph templates, and tagset templates that SAS ships. Style templates work with ODS destinations that support style, and these include the HTML, RTF and PRINTER-family destinations.

A style template is a collection of style elements that are linked to pieces of tabular output such as headers and row headers or linked to general attributes such as colors and fonts.
