The ODS DOCUMENT Destination

An ODS document store is a special kind of SAS file known as an item store. It is a proprietary SAS format and can be viewed and managed only with SAS software. If you work with style and table templates or the SAS registry, you know that those SAS files are also kept in item stores.

Let's start with code that illustrates the basic "sandwich" technique to create an ODS document. The ODS DOCUMENT statement names the document store with the NAME= option.
