Chapter 4. RTF Output

HTML files on the Web are one common way to share your results with other users. However, there's another piece of software your users have in common: the word processor.

Virtually all word processors can import Rich Text Format (RTF) files. And ODS can create several types of RTF output. Starting in SAS 9.2, ODS can create a tagset template version of RTF output: TAGSETS.RTF.

RTF output has all of the colors and formatting you've just seen in the previous chapter. Moreover, in some ways, RTF output is even better. Word processors give more control of the structure and appearance of tables than HTML, and ODS takes full advantage of this.
