Modifying Fonts for Procedures That Use Fixed-Width Fonts

In each of the previous examples, we've been ignoring the definitions for the fixed-width fonts. For most SAS procedures, these fonts are never used. However, there are a few procedures where these fonts matter. For example, the PLOT, CHART, TIMEPLOT, and CALENDAR procedures all use fixed-width fonts to get their output to line up properly. It is possible to modify the style attributes for these fonts. However, do this carefully, and review your results. Because these fonts are so integral to the appearance of these procedures' results, changes to the font definitions can cause problems with the appearance of the results.
