Importing into a Word Processor

There's not much to importing your file into a word processor. If you're on a Windows platform, you can just double-click the file and it should open up in your default word processor. Alternatively, you can open the word processor first, and then open the RTF file from there.

If you are using Microsoft Word 2003, select File and then Open from the menu. This brings up a dialog box where you can specify RTF and the name of your file. The dialog box is shown above, and the resulting Word document is shown on the previous page in Figure 4.1.
