Creating a Linked Set of PDF Results

By default, the ODS PDF destination creates a set of bookmarks in your PDF output, and the output opens in Adobe Reader with a table of contents on the left that links to these bookmarks, as shown in Figure 5.15. We've also seen, earlier in this chapter, how ODS PDF will create a separate "Table of Contents" page. However, sometimes you want to generate your own, perhaps more abbreviated, contents information.

An alternative approach is to use the NOTOC option in the ODS PDF statement to turn this default bookmarking and table of contents off and instead create your own table of contents.
