Aligning Decimals in RTF Output

Before SAS®9, the only way to align data values in a column by decimal points when creating RTF output with ODS was to insert the RTF control word \tqdec in the PRETEXT= attribute of the STYLE= option in PROC PRINT, PROC REPORT, or PROC TABULATE.

Starting with SAS®9, the JUST= style attribute can have the value D for decimal justification. The following PROC REPORT step applies this new setting to the cells in its report on the data set CHEMTEST. The variable SAMPLE is a character variable with a period in the values. The variable CHEMPPB is a numeric variable with widely ranging values.
