16.10. What Can I Archive in Outlook?

You can archive virtually any Outlook item, including these:

  • E-mails

  • Contacts

  • Tasks

  • Calendar Entries

  • Appointments

  • Notes

  • Journal Entries

Although you can archive all of these items, in Outlook, you actually set the archiving options on a per-folder basis. This basically means that each folder that you have created in Outlook can have different archiving options defined for it. This enables you to precisely define which items from each individual folder to archive.
