Altering Neighbor Cost
In your network, you want to prioritize or alter traffic flow based on the cost of a link. Suppose that you want to alter (increase or decrease) the default cost that is associated with a link to a neighbor. You can change this cost by assigning a cost associated with that neighbor as follows:
On point-to-multipoint broadcast networks, there is no need to specify neighbors. However, you can specify neighbors with the neighbor command; in which case; you should specify a cost to that neighbor.
