OS X Mountain Lion now supports the AirPrint wireless printing protocol used in iOS-compatible printers. If you select an AirPrint-capable printer, OS X installs its drivers for you automatically. (Chapter 30 covers printing and scanning.)
OS X Mountain Lion changes the display of the print queue, displaying a separate progress bar for each print job, rather than showing the progress bar just for the selected print job, and moving the print job controls to the right of each print job's progress bar.
OS X Mountain Lion changes the appearance of the initial scan window, simplifying it while also adding the ability to specify the page size.
