Summary

OS X comes with 21 utilities, stored in the Utilities folder, which you can most easily access from the Finder's Go menu or by pressing Shift+Command Key+U. Other companies may place their own utilities in the same folder. Utilities tend to be specialized software tools you use infrequently, though they can be invaluable aids when you do need them.
