The two network utilities in Mountain Lion allow you to manage, configure, and diagnose issues with your network.
AirPort Utility
AirPort Utility helps you manage your AirPort Base Station or Time Capsule. You can use it to do all the following (and more):
Discover and install new firmware updates for your AirPort Base Station or Time Capsule.
Share your Internet connection.
Control who can access your wireless network.
Monitor and diagnose any problems with your AirPort Base Station or Time Capsule.
Restore your AirPort Base Station or Time Capsule to its factory defaults.
Set up a password to protect your AirPort Base Station or Time Capsule settings.
