When All Else Fails — Reinstall
If you’ve tried everything suggested above (and you may have dug further into the issues than this book does) and your Mac still doesn’t work properly, it’s time to completely back up and reinstall Mountain Lion. See Chapter 14 for help on backing up your system and Chapter 1 for instructions on installing Mountain Lion over an existing copy of OS X.
