Researching Ruby on Rails

If mail clusters aren’t geeky enough for you (see the preceding section), try this tip: Mountain Lion Server comes with built-in support for Ruby on Rails (www.rubyonrails.org), an open source language and framework for creating web-based applications. OS X Server comes with several Ruby on Rails component packages (called gems in Ruby-speak), one of which is the Mongrel web server.
