Using System Image Utility, you can implement three features of OS X Server — NetBoot, NetInstall, and NetRestore — to move the operating system over the network to the client Macs. Each tool automatically deploys the OS in a different way and for a different purpose. All three tools start with using System Image Utility to create a system image — a prototype installation that will be used across your network. You can even customize the image with your own settings.
