Some of Mountain Lion Server’s built-in goodies may not be central to everyone’s mission but can be of great value to groups that can use them. If you take a look at this chapter, you may find yourself in the latter group as I explore Messages Server.

Messages Server is a collaborative tool for brainstorming sessions, virtual meetings, video conferencing, and file sharing. One way to think of Messages Server is as a live version of the wiki tools I describe in Chapter 12, plus video and audio. Messages Server works for Mac, Windows, and Linux computers, and for iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch devices.
