Keeping (or Losing) Family Traditions

Traditions are one of those undercurrents of life that give it a sense of timelessness and stability. With that in mind, it's only logical that traditions should evoke feelings of happiness and well-being, not feelings of difficulty and burden. So, just as you've reviewed family celebrations and holidays, you should also take a close look at your family traditions.

Do you maintain the tradition because people enjoy it or because that's what you've always done? In other words, are your family members tolerating the tradition more than they're enjoying it?
