Mapping Global Mindsets

The first step in developing a global mindset is to be able to measure it. Without measurements, it is not easy for organizations to act. Scales for measuring individual and organizational progress toward a global mindset were first developed and validated by Murtha and his colleagues.[16] The aim is to assess the key ingredient essential for the successful implementation of a global competitive strategy: the capacity of individuals to consider complex interactions and differences in the core global strategic process.
