6.7 CHANGE MANAGEMENT: FOUR BASIC STRATEGIES
There are some basic strategies which are quite frequently used by business organisations for the effective introduction of change in the organisation, as propounded by Bennis, Benne, and Chin. They are as follows.

(1) Rational-Empirical | People are rational and will follow their self-interest—once it is revealed to them. Change is based on the communication of information and the offering of incentives. |
