2.8.5 Non-involvement and Non-commitment

This characteristic may have some spiritual-religious roots. For example, it is reflected in the tendency of most Indians not to take clear and strong positions on issues, if such positions are in conflict with other points of view. When it comes to discussions or expressing opinions, there is a tendency to take the “golden mean,” as it is the safest position to avoid confrontation. It results in the following two characteristics of the Indian organisations.
