Domain Restrictions
The following restrictions apply to any WebLogic Server domain you may create:
You can't name your domain “weblogic” because that name is reserved.
You can't name a server, machine, cluster, virtual host, or any other resource the same name as that of the domain to which it belongs. The reason for this is that these are targetable entities, and sharing names would lead to ambiguity.
