Server Logs

On a Windows server, the server life cycle messages are shown in the command window that pops up automatically when you start a server from the Windows Programs button or with a startup command. Of course, you must keep this command window running because killing the window will also kill the server instance itself. You can view the entire log file of the server instance in the WL_HOME/domains/<domain_name>/servers/log directory. In the case of the sample MedRecServer instance in the medrec domain on my server, for example, the log files are located in the C:\MyOra\Middleware\wlserver_10.3\samples\domains\medrec\servers\ MedRecServer\logs directory.
