Setting Up the RDBMS Security Store

The recommended practice is to set up the RDBMS security store when you configure a new domain. When you invoke the Configuration Wizard to create a domain, select RDBMS Security Store in the Select Optional Configuration page. Once you configure the Admin and Managed Servers (and clusters), you'll see the Configure RDBMS Security Store Database page, as shown in Figure 9-6. On this page, select the type of database (Oracle, for example) from the Database Type drop-down list.
