Configuring Mail Sessions

In order to enable developers to code the sending and receiving of messages, the WebLogic Server administrator must first configure WebLogic JavaMail. You do this by creating and configuring mail sessions. Mail sessions contain global mail-related properties that control the mail accounts and network behavior. You can, for example, configure the transport protocols of the mail session and the particular POP server that it must use. Developers can programmatically override the configuration you set up for a mail session. A mail session enables applications to access a preconfigured javax.mail.Session object through JNDI.
