Foreign JMS Servers

A WebLogic messaging bridge links a local destination with a remote destination and forwards messages sent to the local destination to the target destination. Using the WebLogic messaging bridge, however, isn't the only way to connect WebLogic JMS with other JMS providers. You can also set up a foreign JMS server instead of the messaging bridge and make foreign connection factories and destinations directly available to JMS clients. You can make your applications direct clients to a remote JMS server by mapping the connections factories and destinations on the remote JMS server to your local JNDI tree.
