Until Oracle9i Database, the enqueue wait event parameters are name and mode, ID1, and ID2. In Oracle Database 10g, the first parameter remains the same, but the second and third parameters provide specific information about the enqueue they represent. Depending on the enqueue wait event, it can fall under the Administrative, Application, Configuration, Concurrency, or Other wait class.
