Microsoft Hyper-V
Microsoft Hyper-V is the latest entry into the world of virtualization. Microsoft introduced it as a beta product with Windows 2008 and it was later updated to the production version in June 2008. There are two versions of Microsoft Hyper-V: a stand-alone “virtualization server,” and a part of Microsoft Windows Server 2008 R2. Microsoft Hyper-V only runs on x86_64 hardware.
