Configuring the Hardware for Storage

Before you can configure the storage in Oracle VM, you must first configure it properly on the VM Server system itself. That is, the storage must be visible and working at the dom0 layer before you can add it to the VM Server and/or Cluster. The method employed to configure and verify the storage system depends on the type of storage and the amount and type of redundancy used by that storage. This process can be fairly simple, as with NFS storage, or fairly complicated, as with multipath storage.
