Converting External Virtual Images to Oracle VM

The ability to convert an external virtual image to an Oracle VM image is an important feature of Oracle VM. Utilities are provided with Oracle VM to convert these virtual images from other virtualization software programs to Oracle VM. This chapter covers how to convert VMware, Microsoft Hyper-V, and Virtual Iron images to Oracle VM, how to test them, and how to modify them (if applicable). Once you have converted the image to Oracle VM, you can modify the image and make a template, which is now an Oracle VM native template.
