SHIFT[INOUT] {VIS[IBLE]|INV[ISIBLE]}

Allows correct alignment for terminals that display shift characters.

Keywords

VIS[IBLE]: Displays shift characters.
INV[ISIBLE]: Does not display shift characters. This option is the default.

The SET SHIFTINOUT command is useful for terminals, such as the IBM 3270 terminal, that display shift characters together with data.
