Foreword
If you’re reading this, you probably care about operating systems. Some would say that’s an unusual thing to care about, especially today. I’ve been caring about operating systems for quite a while; in fact, I’m writing this on my 23rd anniversary of joining Sun (now Oracle), and the 20th anniversary of Solaris, but it’s been even longer that I’ve cared about UNIX and what has now become Solaris.
