Solaris and Samba
imageirst, let’s clear something up. Solaris has two Sambas. Well, actually, Solaris has its own implementation of the Common Internet File System (CIFS). Although you can install the Samba services familiar to Linux administrators, Solaris engineers have created their own implementation, as a CIFS server integrated into the kernel.
