Solaris Trusted Extensions

erhaps one of the least well-known and sparsely documented areas of Solaris is Trusted Extensions. Even the name itself gives one pause. What is it? It’s a good thing we’ve covered zones in Chapter 14, because zones and Trusted Extensions are so close they might as well be brother and sister. If you’ve grasped the concepts of zones, you’re three-quarters of the way to understanding Trusted Extensions (TX).
