Monitoring KPIs
In the previous section, we looked at monitoring the state of a process. In this section, we will use BAM to give a real-time view of our KPIs. For example, we may be interested in monitoring the current value of all open auctions. This can be done by creating a view, for example, using a dial gauge. The gauge will give us a measure of a value in the context of acceptable and unacceptable bounds. Creating the view is done in a similar fashion as done previously, and again, we may make use of filters to restrict the range of data objects that are included in the view.
When we have completed the views in our report and saved the report, we may view the report through the active viewer application and watch the values change in real-time. ...
