We will now examine how Oracle SOA Suite provides the services identified previously.

The SOA Suite is built on top of a Java Enterprise Edition (Java EE) infrastructure. Although SOA Suite is certified with several different Java EE servers, including IBM WebSphere, it will most commonly be used with the Oracle WebLogic server. The Oracle WebLogic Server (WLS) will probably always be the first available Java EE platform for SOA Suite and is the only platform that will be provided bundled with the SOA Suite to simplify installation.
