Summary

In this chapter, we learned the system architecture options for achieving high availability for the SOA composite application's design and deployment. The key take away is that the availability uptime SLAs for an application service is equal to the lowest availability uptime of a system component and shared service(s). Therefore, each system component and shared service(s) must meet or exceed the availability uptime SLAs set for the overall system. In the next chapter, we will discuss the future of business process modeling.
