It presents a number of sample applications you might want to adapt for your own organization’s use — a basic database security system, an audit application, and a user account maintenance application. It discusses specific strategies for starting up Oracle and backing up and restoring databases in the most secure manner. It also describes the use of the Oracle Enterprise Manager, a standard Oracle product you can use to simplify many security operations.
