Synopsis
NAMESCTL.NO_INITIAL_SERVER = TRUE | FALSE
Controls whether or not the Names Control utility attempts to connect to a default Names server when you first start the utility. The default value is FALSE. The result is a slight delay when you first start Names Control while the utility attempts to contact a Names server on your network. Setting this parameter to TRUE prevents Names Control from contacting a Names server until you issue a SET SERVER command. The result is that Names Control will start more quickly than it would otherwise.
