Synopsis

NAMES.INITIAL_RETRY_TIMEOUT = seconds

Specifies the number of seconds to wait for a response from one Oracle Names server before attempting to contact the next Names server on the list. The default value is operating-system dependent, but is often 15 seconds. The valid range is from 1 to 600 seconds.
