Synopsis

NAMES.DEFAULT.DOMAIN = Net8_domain

Allows you to specify a default domain that is appended to net service names that do not already include a domain component. Any net service name that does not already include a dot (.), will have this domain appended to it. The default value is an empty string, or NULL. Prior to the release of Oracle8, the default value was WORLD.
