Summary

This chapter has demonstrated how to use the Management Console to monitor any application running on JRockit. The information and functionality available in the different tabs of the JRockit Management Console was described together with examples and various use cases.

We have also shown how the Management Console can easily be extended with custom tabs with specialized user interfaces as well as custom actions to be used with the trigger rules.

The next chapter will explain how to use the JRockit Runtime Analyzer to profile and diagnose both the JRockit runtime as well as the applications running in JRockit.
