PDE
PDE is short for Plug-in Development Environment, an Eclipse IDE feature facilitating the development of Equinox (OSGi) plug-ins. The PDE provides wizards and templates for generating boilerplate code for new plug-ins, as well as extension points for adding new templates and wizards.
