Value: 256-available shared memory

Default: 6000

Parallel Server parameter that controls the number of resources that can be locked by each Lock Manager instance. The value specified for LM_RESS should be much less than 2 * DML_LOCKS plus an overhead of about 20 locks. Multiple instances must have the same value. Obsolete with Oracle9i.
