Default: 11 * PROCESSES + 5

Specifies the total number of user and system sessions. The default values of ENQUEUE_RESOURCES and TRANSACTIONS are derived from SESSIONS. If you alter the value of SESSIONS, you may also need to adjust the values for these other parameters. With the Shared Server or Multi-Threaded Server, you should set the value of SESSIONS to approximately 1.1 * (total number of connections).
