Specifies the total number of virtual circuits available for network connections in a Shared Server environment. The default is the value of SESSIONS if MTS is in use; otherwise, it is 0. New with Oracle8i. Starting with Oracle9i, Oracle recommends that you use the CIRCUITS parameter instead.
