Synopsis

Value: 1-number of dispatchers

Default: 5

Specifies the maximum number of dispatcher processes allowed to be running simultaneously and applies only if dispatchers have been configured. You should set this parameter to at least the maximum number of concurrent sessions divided by the number of connections for each dispatcher (250 sessions per dispatcher provides good performance). New with Oracle9i.
