Synopsis

Value: 1-10, or 0 for a single instance running in exclusive mode

Default: 1

Sets the number of background lock processes (LCK0 through LCK9) for an instance in a Parallel Server. The default of 1 is normally sufficient, but the value can be increased if the distributed lock request rate saturates the lock process. Multiple instances must have identical values.
