Name
SHARED_POOL_RESERVED_MIN_ALLOC
Synopsis
Value: 5000-SHARED_POOL_RESERVED_SIZE
Default: 5000
Controls allocation of reserved memory. Memory allocations larger than this value can allocate space from the reserved list if a chunk of memory of sufficient size is not found on the shared pool free lists. If this parameter is increased, the Oracle Server will allow fewer allocations from the reserved list and will request more memory from the shared pool list. Can be specified as a numeric value or a number followed by K (1000) or M (1,000,000). Obsolete with Oracle8i.
