Common SQL Clauses

A clause is a set of keywords that are related and used as a unit in a variety of SQL statements. The commonly used SQL clauses are listed in this section. In the statement summaries later in this chapter, we simply reference their names and syntactical positions in the individual SQL syntax descriptions.
